هذا البحث، يدور حول نازلة قديمة متجددة، تعم بها البلوى في بعض فترات الزمان، وهي الأوبئة والطواعين، التي تجتاح البشرية، وتقتلهم جماعات وفرادى. وقد تناول البحث فقه التعامل مع هذه الأوبئة والطواعين، وذلك من خلال مقدمة، وثلاثة مباحث، وخاتمة. وقد احتوت المقدمة على الاستفتاحية، وإشكالية الموضوع، وأهميته، وأسباب الكتابة فيه، والدراسات السابقة، والمنهج المتبع في كتابته، وخطته. وعالج المبحث الأول التعريف بمصطلحات البحث (فقه التعامل مع الأوبئة والطواعين)، وتناول المبحث الثاني معالجة التدابير الاحترازية للوقاية من الأوبئة والطواعين، وتحدث المبحث الثالث عن طرق التعامل مع الأوبئة والطواعين، ثم جاءت الخاتمة، وقد سجلّ فيها الباحث أهم ما توصلت إليه الدراسة من نتائج، وتوصيات.
